Tapavino is a buzzy and busy Spanish wine bar near Circular Quay. Establish in 2012 and previous winner of the best bar awards, we are now on the look out for a bar person that can not only dispense drinks but take food orders at the bar. Having a bit of personality helps, as it's not only service that counts, but hospitality.
Not knowing about Spanish wine won't count against your application, however, most wines are with cork, so it's mandatory to know how to open a bottle of wine and know if it's corked or not.
Please note: You should have a minimum 2 years previous experience in the above or similar roles.
2 years minimum working in a busy venue, whether cocktail and/or restaurant.
Will need to know the food menu and customers can eat at the bar, and it's the respondibility of the Bar staff to take their food orders.
Little or no knowledge of Spanish wine will not count against you.
